Our sisters are committed to instilling confidence in women through a strong network of friendship and leadership. We, as Kappa Deltas, take great pride in our academics and have boasted the highest Panhellenic GPA for four consecutive semesters, while maintaining a strong focus on personal excellence and campus involvement.

Within our chapter, we have sisters from diverse backgrounds, with shared values connecting us all. Our four values – friendship & loyalty, personal integrity, lifelong learning, and selfless service are evident in all that we do. Eta Upsilon strives to foster an environment where each sister can grow into the best version of herself.

As Kappa Deltas, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive sisterhood. We allow space for all sisters to succeed through a wide variety of leadership positions and opportunities. Our sisterhood is filled with women from different lived experiences. Having an understanding and care for each other’s differences results in a truer, wiser, and more loving environment. Through Building Confidence and Inspiring Action, we empower women to be leaders and encourage personal growth that translates to any aspect of life, even outside our chapter. This uplifting sisterhood strives to embrace our sisters for all they are, empowering each of us to be our best, confident selves.

Kappa Delta has two national philanthropies - Girl Scouts of America and Prevent Child Abuse America. In our work with the Girl Scouts, we promote self confidence in young women so that they may feel empowered to overcome social barriers and be inspired to reach their greatest potential. To do this, we host numerous hands-on Girl Scout events from selling cookies with local troops to STEM exploration activities.

In March we host our annual Shamrock event, Shamrock N Sync, a fraternity lip sync battle where KD sisters coach the competing teams. Started in 2023, this event has quickly turned into a campus favorite, with excitement and active participation from all of Greek Life here at NC State! Shamrock N Sync raises money for SAFEchild Raleigh, the local benefactor of PCAA, so we can see real change in our own community.

Funding for PCAA and SAFEchild contribute to our lifelong pursuit of preventing the neglect of our nation’s children while advocating for meaningful change and providing support programs. We love partnering with such wonderful organizations that work tirelessly to instill confidence in the families that need it most.

Love in AOT!
