2026 Sorority Recruitment Counselors
A message from our Director Of SRC’s
Grace Viola
“Hi everyone! I'm so excited to welcome you here. My name is Grace Viola, and I'm truly honored to serve as Director of Sorority Recruitment Counselors (SRCs) for 2026 Fall Primary Recruitment.
Your SRC is your guide through the recruitment process. Each counselor temporarily disaffiliates from her own chapter so she can offer you honest, unbiased support. She is there for you as a listening ear, a trusted resource, and a friend. These women embody what it means to be a Panhellenic woman: leading with compassion, integrity, and respect.
My biggest piece of advice? Go through recruitment with an open mind and trust the process. Focus on finding YOUR best fit, not what others expect of you or where your friends are headed. And don't hesitate to lean on your SRC. No question is too small, and she is genuinely here for you every step of the way! We are so excited to meet everyone and welcome you to the Panhellenic community!”

What is a Sorority Recruitment Counselor?
A Sorority Recruitment Counselor, or a SRC, is a collegiate sorority member who disaffiliates from their individual chapter to help PNMs with an unbiased perspective through recruitment. An SRC strives to foster a positive Panhellenic spirit before and after Recruitment, is well educated about all chapters on campus, and accepts this unique responsibility to help others find their true fit within the various chapters of the Panhellenic community.
She is…
a positive representation of NC State Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) Community
confident and a fluent communicator
someone who strives to foster a positive Panhellenic sorority before and after Recruitment
well educated about all chapters on campus
someone who values and respects diversity
someone who recognizes that listening is often more essential than talking
someone who puts forth the effort, hard work, and dedication throughout the entire process
someone has been on both sides of recruitment - PNM and a Recruiter
She is not…
someone who only wants to promote their chapter
someone who solely focuses on the social aspects of women’s fraternities
someone who wants to take away from a Potential New Member’s recruitment experience by reliving her own
What to know about your SRC…
You will meet your SRC during the Recruitment Kickoff on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025.
She is SO EXCITED to meet you! She has been training for this position for over 6 months and could not be happier to help guide you during your Recruitment process.
Each SRC will have about 12-15 Potential New Members in her group.
Your SRC is a resource that is there for you at all times! Whether you have a question about what to wear during rounds, how to adjust to life away from home, or how to get to class, your SRC will be there for you before, during, and after Formal Recruitment.
Your SRC has dissociated from her chapter to be an unbiased source for you. Please do not try to reveal her affiliation before she tells you on Bid Day.
Your SRC was chosen out of a very competitive applicant pool. We love her, and we hope you do too!
